Waikiki, Hawaii Vacation

Alooooha! :) I was talking about going to Hawaii on my past entry! My husband and I went to Waikiki 1 week after I took the FPGEE exam to unwind...
Hawaii is one of the best places to visit for a vacation. We stayed at Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach wherein at the front is the white sand beach and at the back is the shopping center, very accissible and convenient. It was a dream come true for me visiting their beautiful places/beaches. My husband and I enjoyed our 6-day-vacation. Here's our photos:

Waikiki Beach (I love swimming here, the water is warm & the sands is so powdery, wink!)

Hanauma Bay (known to be one of the best place in the whole world to go snorkling, I saw a lot of big, colorful fish there, they swim close to me!)

Me at Hanauma Bay :)

Dinner at Dukes with my elem-highschool classmate Marie and her husband Steve (the food is great! yum2x!)

Playing with the waves at North Shore (we had fun playing with the dog too, I don't know who's the owner of this black friendly dog, he enjoyed playing with the waves as much as I do, hehe)

Luau (very intertaining and there's a lot of good foods, yum! we're so full)

Paradise Cove Luau (pics with king and queen, haha!)

Diamond Head (it was a pretty good hiking, almost 1 hour to get on the top, the view up there is breathtaking)

Boat Sailing at Waikiki (turtle hunting! opps! I mean, we went out to the sea to go snorkling and hoping to see turtles!)

Here we go, swimming with huge turtle, I saw 6 turtles and a school of fish here, swam so close to them but we're not allowed to touch them, they are one of the endangered species!)

My husband and I love to travel and I love white sand beaches. I wasn't able to do any travelling this year because of studying. I have to sacrifice inorder to get my goal.
My husband and I finally decided where to go for a vacation this year... We were thinking of going to Phuket, Thailand or Bora Bora but we ended up choosing Hawaii... We will just save those other beautiful places next time... Since before I am really eager to see the nice paradise hawaii... We will be in waikiki this time... We already book early so that we can get discounts. My exam will be on Oct. 1 and we will be in Hawaii for 6 days, Oct. 8 to 13. Hola! it will be a lot of fun! :)

Barobo, Surigao Adventure

Last 2005, I went to Barobo Surigao, somewhere in Mindanao part of Philippines with my siblings to visit our eldest sister who live there with his boyfriend. We stayed there for 1 week. It was a very nice experienced for me and my siblings to be together far away far home -- experiencing a lot of good bonding with my siblings is priceless! Especially sometimes, that all of us can't get along. So sad but true! I considered those times a very memorable one. Now that all of us have a good relationship with each other, I miss going out with them. I wish we could do it again someday. Photos below are some of the wonderful moments I had -- captured by my camera at the place of Barobo, Surigao!

Where I Want To Go This Year for Vacation?

I haven't gone to any beach resort since our Mexico vacation last Dec. 2008. I miss the white sand. My husbands co-worker told him about this beautiful place for vacation "TAHITI". And thus we goggle it and here's the beautiful place we found, the paradise bora bora. Where is Tahiti anyway? -- A French Polynesia more commonly known as "Tahiti" is located in the South Pacific approximately 8 hours by plane from the city of Los Angeles. primarily consists of five main island groups: Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Raiatea and Taha'a.

Simply said, Bora Bora is the most beautiful island in the world. Pora Pora - the ancient name, meaning "first born," came from legends describing this as the first island to rise when Taaroa, the supreme god, fished it out of the waters after the mythical creation of Havai'i, now known as Raiatea. Although the first letter "B" does not exist in the Tahitian language, when Captain Cook first heard the name he mistook the softened sound of the Tahitian "P" for "B" and called the island Bora Bora.

Wow! just imagine yourself sitting in a breathtakingly stunning tropical lagoon, in the warm waters of the South Pacific, is arguably the most beautiful island paradise in the world. Surrounded by an artist's palette of turquoise blues and emerald greens, this secluded resort combines stylish elegance and unprecedented service with a magnificent setting that will captivate all who visit. Oh, I wish I could go there...
