Happy 2nd Anniversary 07/07/09

My husband and I went out to my favorite Bangkok Garden thai restaurant last night to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Wow! I've been happily married for 2 years now and and am still counting for more years to come. I am a firm believer in blessings and I have had so many blessings in my life -- my husband is one of them. I love my husband so much, he is all that I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. I couldn't imagine how my life would be without him. Since he came into my life, my life started to change for more better. Being with the right person really make a lot of difference in life! I remember when I prayed to God so hard -- asking for the man that he prepares for me, I felt so empty at those time. But when I met my husband for the first time, the feeling just came out unexpectedly wonderful. Yes, God answered my prayers and I am so happy and thankful for that. I always praise Him because He is my God. May He continue to bless us more everyday...

Photos below are the thai foods, they're so yummy...

My Brother's Wedding

the new couple

(the couple with sister Cheryl, mom,dad and Nelson)

I am so happy that my brother Bryant finally got married with his fiance and I'm glad to know that the wedding went so successful. I like his wife Marivic, she is one of a nice person I've known -- very religious and hard working woman who perfectly match my brother, hehe. Congrats to both of you and best wishes!

Barobo, Surigao Adventure

Last 2005, I went to Barobo Surigao, somewhere in Mindanao part of Philippines with my siblings to visit our eldest sister who live there with his boyfriend. We stayed there for 1 week. It was a very nice experienced for me and my siblings to be together far away far home -- experiencing a lot of good bonding with my siblings is priceless! Especially sometimes, that all of us can't get along. So sad but true! I considered those times a very memorable one. Now that all of us have a good relationship with each other, I miss going out with them. I wish we could do it again someday. Photos below are some of the wonderful moments I had -- captured by my camera at the place of Barobo, Surigao!

My Niece

Serious!
Happy baby!
Sleeping -- Zzzzzz..

My niece Claira Mae with a caucasian dad and filipina mom. She was born on March 27th, 2009. She's almost three months now. Soo cute and adorable. I consider her an angel to our family. She serves as a surfactant between me and my sister. Sometimes, my relationship to my sister is not so great. It's a long story to tell. I am just happy that through this baby I have a very good relationship with her now.

Guess who visited me today?

This pic was taken 2 years ago with my uncle Bert at International airport, San Francisco when I first step foot in California.

My father's brother uncle Bert and her wife auntie Ester and other aunties visited me today. They came from Reno and since they can pass our place going home to San Jose, they'd decided to visit me to drop their favorite fried rice for me that they bought from Reno. Here's the yummy fried rice, very true, it is good! John said, "the fried rice hit the spot!" Thanks uncle.

Uncle Bert still keep asking me about my plan. Anyways, it's all about to be a pharmacist here in the states. Everytime I talk to him, he always ask me something related to pharmacy stuff that I am trying to pursue in this country. He told me that he just met a friend who is working with pharmacist and now there is a big demand of pharmacist in the states even in this tough times. Okay -- okay, I already know that! --- And yes, I also know that he is just trying to tell me to keep on moving and never give up! He told me, "someday you will get there if you just keep on trying and even if you fail the test don't stop taking it again, it doesn't matter how many times you have to take the test". Wow! he sounds like my husband now, hahaha! Well, I know and actually that is already in the plan just before I came here in the U.S., I know that it is tough but it is what I've been dreaming to become, big time! hahaha! You know what? He was already preparing his pig for lechon (he make lechon for business) when I pass the exam, hahaha! That supposed to be last Dec. 08 but unfortunately, I failed the test on the first try :(... It's okay there's always next time. Better luck next time baby... Now he asked me how many lechon I want when I pass this time, - 1 or 2? because he can give me two if I want! I said, "nah! one is enough". I really do love my uncle, he is just like my dad but sometimes he stressed me out especially when he ask me about work? Hmm, he is just concern, that's why! Okay, I totally understand.

Long Distance Call

I was talking to my brother and sister last night from the Philippines using MajicJack. It's been 2 years that I didn't talk to my sister on the phone since I came here in the U.S. So, when we finally talk, wow! I have to catch up everything that was happening when I wasn't there with them. She told me a lot of things like what happend to my uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews and nieces (mother and father side) and I was enjoying knowing something new about them. They called me around 12 am pacific time and I didn't want to hang up the phone so it ended up I was on the line until 6 am and feel dizzy, (no sleep) hahaha. I slept in the morning after we said goodbye and we'll talk next time, zzzzzzzz!
How does MagicJack work? Here's the website http://www.magicjack.com/7/index.asp to explain everything you need to know. As what it says you can call the country around the U.S. and Canada. So, how did my brother was able to use this MajicJack in the Philippines? He registered his number using my land line number here in California and that's it, he got a new number from MajicJack with the area number here in the city where I live in the U.S. You only have to pay $19.95 for 1 year. This is the cheapest deal I got and I like it! :)
Do I recommend MajicJack? YES, for sure.
